Earn and Redeem Points
As a U.S. Bank Altitude Go cardmember, you will earn 1 Point for every $1 spent on eligible net purchases (net purchases are purchases minus credits and returns) made with your account during each billing cycle that your account is open and in good standing (not past due or overlimit) according to your Cardmember Agreement. A purchase will not earn additional Points if the merchant's selected code is in a category that is not eligible for additional Points earning. We do not determine the category codes that merchants choose and reserve the right to determine which purchases qualify for additional Points.
In addition, you will earn Points for the following Net Purchases:
(1) 4 Points (1 base and 3 bonus Points) for every $1 on restaurant, fast-food restaurant and bar purchases on your first $2,000 each quarter. Purchases over $2,000 will earn 1 point for every $1 during that quarter.
(2) 2 Points (1 base and 1 bonus Point) for every $1 on gas station and EV charging station purchases. Purchases at discount stores/supercenters, wholesale clubs and grocery stores/supermarkets will earn only 1 Point.
(3) 2 Points (1 base and 1 bonus Point) for every $1 on grocery store and supermarket purchases. Purchases at discount stores/supercenters such as Target and Walmart and wholesale clubs will earn only 1 Point.
(4) 2 Points (1 base and 1 bonus Point) for every $1 on qualifying streaming subscription service purchases. Current list of qualifying streaming subscription service merchants appear in the Program Rules.

Points will expire if there is no reward, purchase, or balance activity on your account for 12 consecutive statement cycles. Points earned from other rewards programs as a result of an upgrade or conversion may be subject to expiration per their original terms.
The U.S. Bank Altitude account offers a variety of exciting rewards including travel options, merchandise, gift cards, event tickets, statement credits or a deposit into your U.S. Bank checking or savings account. Maximum Point value applies to Points redeemed for a deposit into an eligible U.S. Bank Account. The redemption value may be different if you choose to redeem your Points for other rewards such as travel, merchandise, gift cards, and/or statement credit. Other restrictions apply. Minimum redemption amounts may vary and are subject to change without notice. Once you have earned enough points for a reward, redeeming is simple. You can use the Rewards Center to turn your points into rewards with just a few clicks of your mouse. You may also redeem over the phone by calling 888-229-8864 and a Rewards Service Advisor will assist you with your redemption. You may also redeem through text message after signing up for Real-Time Rewards.
If you book air travel online a $6.99 redemption fee will be charged per domestic ticket. A $10.99 redemption fee will be charged per international ticket. If you book travel by phone a $39 Travel Advisor Consultation fee will be charged per award ticket. You will be advised of the fee when booking. Airlines may impose additional fees that are not included in your award ticket, including but not limited to fees for seating, luggage and changing your ticket.
There are no blackout dates, seating or zone restrictions when redeeming your points for an award ticket.
Yes, you will be able to redeem your points for award ticket travel on more than 150 airlines, including major airlines such as American, Delta and United. There are no blackout dates or capacity controls, so you can fly when you want.
Your U.S. Bank Altitude account must be open and in good standing (not past due or overlimit) according to your Cardmember Agreement in order to redeem points. Subject to applicable law, any remaining points will be lost when an account is closed. Please call Cardmember Service at 800-285-8585 for inquiries about reopening a U.S. Bank Altitude account.
No, however you can quickly and easily transfer your points to another U.S. Bank Altitude Go or Altitude Connect account to another Altitude Go or Altitude Connect account, if available. Point transfer is not available from a FlexPerks account to Altitude Go or Altitude Connect account. And, an Altitude Reserve Account can only transfer to another Altitude Reserve account. Whether you are transferring to a family member, friend or another U.S. Bank Altitude Go or Altitude Connect account you own, just follow the easy steps under the Point Transfer option within the Rewards Center. You can transfer up to 20,000 points per calendar year.
Transfer Points
Yes. Points transfer is simply moving points from a U.S. Bank Altitude Go or Altitude Connect account to another Altitude Go or Altitude Connect account, if available. Points transfer is not available from a FlexPerks Account to Altitude Go or Altitude Connect account. And, an Altitude Reserve account can only transfer to another Altitude Reserve account. Doing so allows you to gift/share points with friends or family members in order to redeem sooner. You can transfer up to 20,000 points per calendar year.
You can find your U.S. Bank Altitude rewards number on your credit card statement.
Yes, as long as your U.S. Bank Altitude Go account and the account receiving the points open and are in good standing (not past due or overlimit) according to the Cardmember Agreement you can transfer up to 20,000 points per calendar year to other U.S. Bank Altitude Go or Altitude Connect accounts. You can transfer to a family member, a friend or to another U.S. Bank Altitude Go or Altitude Connect account you own.
No, there is no fee to transfer points.
Yes. You must have the U.S. Bank Altitude account number you wish to transfer points to. You can transfer up to 20,000 points per calendar year.
Merchandise
You can track your package by clicking on the tracking number link included on your profile page under “Delivery method” or you can call the Rewards Center at 888-229-8864.
All redemptions are final. However, if your item is damaged, defective, or mis-shipped, please refer to the terms and conditions on the product’s item detail page within the Rewards Center or on the packing slip you received with the item(s).
Event Tickets
No. Currently the only way you can redeem for event tickets is to log in to your Reward Account at usbank.com then visit the Rewards Center. Click the link for “Event Tickets” from the navigational menu.
You can redeem for sports, concert and theater events across North America.
No, you will not be able to cancel your order. All redemptions are final.

Real-Time Rewards
It’s a rewards redemption method that enables you to instantly turn your purchases into rewards. Your mobile device can be used to immediately redeem points in the form of a credit to your monthly billing statement.
In the Rewards Center click on “More” in the top navigation bar, then click on “Real-Time Rewards” and follow the steps to enroll.
First, complete a 2-minute enrollment to set your preferences. Then, after you make a purchase that meets your preferences, and receive a text asking if you want to use points to redeem immediately after the purchase, simply reply ‘REDEEM’ to the message to complete the redemption. You must have enough points to cover the entire purchase in order to receive the text message to redeem. Your points will be deducted from your points balance and redeemed in the form of a credit to your monthly billing statement. See Program Rules for additional details.
Yes, you may assign a 10-digit U.S. mobile number to your accounts that are open and in good standing (not past due or overlimit).
No. You may only assign one 10-digit U.S. mobile number per account.
You may only redeem against the most recent text message received.
The text message is sent at the time of the eligible purchase. You have 24 hours from the time the purchase is made to respond to the text message and redeem points.
Most gas and restaurant purchases are not available for Real-Time redemption because they are often two-stage authorization processes. For instance, restaurant purchases often have a tip after the initial authorization.
No, Real-Time Rewards text messages are available only for transactions with U.S. merchants.
You may receive a Real-Time Rewards text message for an auto bill pay transaction if the purchase falls within your preference selections.
The statement credit may be different from your final purchase amount if the transaction included a gratuity, fees or estimated taxes.
You can opt-out at any time by going online to the Rewards Center or by texting ‘STOP’ to REDEEM (733336) or by calling the Rewards Center at888-229-8864. After you opt-out, you may still receive text messages for up to 24 hours. Please see Program Rules for additional details.
The one-time 500 bonus points will be applied to your account within 8-10 weeks after you have completed and confirmed your enrollment for Real-Time Rewards. Remember to reply ‘YES’ to the enrollment text message you will receive from REDEEM (733336).
You are eligible to receive the one-time 500 bonus points for each U.S. Bank Altitude creditcard account enrolled in Real-Time Rewards.
